I am getting married HELP ME!?

Hello, my name is Elizabeth. I am getting married next year on sat. june 21st, it will be a red white and green wedding(not to be confused with christmas colors). I was wondering does anyone have any ideas for reception and ceremony sites, flowers, favors, catering(what type of foods), music for the reception and entering of other ppl during the ceremony, and table arrangements. There are a few things I would suggest to do first. The first thing I would do is pick up a wedding magazine or two to get some decorating ideas. A lot of times you can 're-design' things they have in their pages for a fraction of the cost. Also, decide on your budget before you search for a place to have the wedding. The place where you will have the wedding determines the feel and the design of the day. Take a look in your area at gardens, indoor venues, things like that. A REALLY invaluable tool I used while planning my wedding was www.theknot.com. That website can be used for local information, too, so you can get all sorts of information based on your location. They also have posting places (like this!) where you can ask questions and get lots of helpful answers.


My biggest advice is just to go step by step. You will go crazy if you try to think of everything at once. Look at a timeline in a wedding magazine / book / website and see what things you should be deciding and when.

Reply:Put disposable cameras at every table and ask your guests to take pictures at the reception. That way you have tons of fun pictures as well as the professional pictures you have made.
Reply:As per the flowers and decorations, the one thing that you need to do is get with the person that your marrying and see what you both are into. Then pick one (or two) color as a dominate color and vary your decor around that color. Expamle: If your dominate color was red, you could have centerpieces that have a red floral center and are surrounded by the other two colors. Your tableclothes could be white with your plates and stuff being red or having red trim.
Reply:well I can't tell you where to have the reception because I have no idea what state you are in...flowers, white, red, green roses?, fovors, a friend of mine gave lindt choclates in these boes that you plant and get wildflowers from, a dj will cover everyone
