I have made wreaths, arrangements, swags, etc. Most of them have been good enough people have asked me to make them one for special occassions and have they them hanging up or have used them in the past.
The only issue I have is I have two children and am a stay at home mom but would like to get involved in the business and was wondering if you have any tips. Any advice would be appreciated, even advice on how to make my arrangements even better than they are.
I do have a request though, I would like to work with real florists. I do not mind dried flowers, I can accomodate to anything but just an idea.
Thank you in advance for any help!
Is anyone here a florist?

Reply:I think this would be a better thing to ask in your community as I don't know what busnesses ect. you live near.
Reply:I am a crafter and I do decorate wreaths. I perfer
silks to dried or fresh. I try and add more then
what is available in the stores. I try and make them look fuller. Hope this helps. Oh, by the way,
do you spray your wreaths after you have made them with hairspray to help preserve them?
Reply:hello. i am not a florist ... i am wondering if there is any chance you could get a night school class at a local college doing floristry ..that way you would have some kind of professional certificate at the end of it and would be able to show the florist shop owners that you are capable and able to do the work .but stipulate that you will need to be able to work at home... good luck with this i hope it all works out well for you xxloan
