What's the appropriate way to address my friends family for this situation...?

I am sending an arrangement of flowers to my best friends%26#039; family for the loss of her grandmother (mom%26#039;s mom). Her mom still uses her maiden name so to address it to %26quot;The Smith* Family%26quot; wouldn%26#039;t include her. What is the best way to address them--%26quot;The Smith* and Jones* Family?%26quot; or something else?
What%26#039;s the appropriate way to address my friends family for this situation...?
Say
FlowersBirthday FlowersSympathy FlowersThe most egalitarian way to handle this is to address the card to each member of the family...and they are ALL grieving, so no one will feel like that%26#039;s overkill. You begin with the eldest living member of the family, then the next in age, and so on down to the youngest member.

I have a hyphenated last name, my maiden name and my husbands last name combined. I like to be addressed as Ms. or Dr. name (hyphen) name. When something comes to the house, where my elderly father lives with us, it SHOULD come addressed to him first, then my name, then my husband and kids.

Honestly, though, whatever you do will be appreciated. I doubt that the family will nit pick because your concern and genuine caring for thier feelings will be evident in the gesture of sending the flowers.
Reply:I would address it to the Smith-Jones Family.
Reply:you can write the full name of grand mother and say Family and friends of Mrs.....
Reply:Both
Reply:The Smith Family
Reply:Address it to your friend %26#039;and family%26#039; and offer your sincere condolences on their loss. Gets around the problrm neatly
Reply:Put them together.
Reply:I would put to both families they are all greaving not just your friends mother.fitness
