Ideas for space above a headboard?

I%26#039;ve tried to find ideas for the wall above headboard and not finding much. I can draw, but looking for simple paint designs, geometric. It is for small bedroom, and I have to be careful it doesn%26#039;t overwhelm.





The only thing I found in search, was faux headboards. There are suggestions for hanging a simple quilt or drape curtains from a shelf called a coronet (which I never heard of before). I do have a headboard already...white, iron leaf with posts...simple.





I%26#039;ve thought of flowers, but what kinds of arrangements?

if you arent comfortable hand painting, you can buy letter stencils, or could project the image onto the wall, trace then paint.
